User-prepared library sequencing

The ATGC provides comprehensive sequencing services for user-prepared libraries utilizing our advanced Illumina sequencers: NextSeq 2000 and MiSeq. This service is designed for researchers who wish to prepare their own sequencing libraries and submit them for sequencing at our facility. Our team ensures the highest quality sequencing outcomes, while the responsibility for library preparation and compatibility with Illumina sequencing standards lies with the user.
Key user responsibilities:
- Library compatibility: Users must ensure their libraries are compatible with Illumina sequencing platforms, specifically in terms of sequencing primers used in custom library preparations.

Miseq
Custom library preparations may require special considerations for primer sequences. Please contact us on this matter. - PhiX control: The inclusion of PhiX Control v3 Library is essential to ensure accurate base calling, especially when libraries have low base diversity. By default, we add 2% PhiX to all sequencing runs. However, it is the user’s responsibility to determine if a higher percentage of PhiX is necessary for optimal results. For additional info

Before submitting samples for our sequencing service, please read our samples delivery instructions, fill and send us the electronic sample sheet. Make sure your barcode sequences are correct and in the Forward orientation.
The sequencing data is sent via Illumina Basespace cloud. Please open an account and indicate the email address associated with your account in the sample submission form. Instructions on how to open an account and manage your data in the cloud.
